The Commercial Strategy (Senior Director/VP) Leader will be responsible for delivering commercial strategies to help Parexel achieve its short to long term new business goals. He/she will be responsible for driving key commercial initiatives and managing multiple projects and engagements, working directly with senior leadership to define scope, develop analytical strategies and ensure optimal business processes while creating deliverable's that provide business insights.
  • Work closely with the Business and Leaders in creating and aligning strategies to meet the growth of the commercial organization.
  • Conduct on-going in-depth analyses on current and future markets, customer insights, and competitor assessments
  • Leverages commercial analytics processes to deliver strategic insights and shape customer strategies
  • Provide recommendations based on analysis to commercial leadership
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to improve process/tools to help analyze account/segment performance
  • Utilize market intelligence to develop and execute market research plans for winning customer strategies
  • Ensures alignment of KPIs and targets across commercial function
  • Create and provide reports to the business and leadership


  • Previous experience delivering and driving commercial strategy (10+ years’ experience) with experience in CRO, pharmaceutical, or healthcare related industry.
  • Sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment; Exceptional ability of setting priority based on business impact and demonstrated flexibility of shifting priorities quickly if needed
  • Strong strategic, analytical ability, and intellectual curiosity to drive performance improvement and solve business challenges
  • Extremely growth-oriented; Demonstrated success of operating at both strategic level and in tactical details to drive to root cause and action planning to enable business growth
  • Creative and intellectually curious demonstrating strong conceptual thinking skills
  • Strong communicator, both verbal and written, to engage, influence and get buy-in from all levels of organization
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Master’s degree preferred in science or business related are
